Digital evidence proves Avinash's presence at Viveka's residence: CBI

Pulivendula: The newly-constituted CBI team on Sunday visited the residence of Vivekananda Reddy and neighbours in Pulivendula, later visiting the scene of the crime and taking stock of the bedroom and bathroom alignments of the residence.

The probe team later visited MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy’s residence, verified the premises and interacted with the MP’s personal assistant Ramana Reddy.

After the visit, they returned to Vivekananda Reddy’s premises and questioned a computer operator, Inayathulla, who had taken pictures and videos of Vivekananda’s body and sent them to the family.

Sources said that the CBI extracted information from Inayathulla on the identity and number of persons present in the residence on the day of the murder and its aftermath.

The CBI sleuths also made a round of the Pulivendula Ring Road with Avinash Reddy’s PA, to recreate the events, as Avinash Reddy’s version states that he was on his way to Jammalamadugu when he was informed about the murder and rushed back.

The CBI mentioned in a petition at the Telangana High Court that digital evidence confirmed that Avinash Reddy was present at his residence on the day of the murder along with his aides.
