Hyderabad: A Class IX student, who was involved in burglaries at LB Nagar was apprehended by the police on Monday.

The police also arrested the boy’s aide, who was purchasing the stolen gold from the boy and recovered property worth Rs 71,000.

The LB Nagar police said that a burglary has taken place in a house at Sainasaptagiri colony in Mansoorabad area on April 15, where about 20 gm of gold ornaments were stolen and also furniture and other articles in the house were damaged.

Upon conduction the investigation, the police tracked down the juvenile and his aide Amboth Ramesh, a painter from from Nacharamma Basthi. They said that the student got addicted to bad vices after he become friends with Ramesh.
