Goon murdered by 4 men in Secunderabad

The deceased identified as Syed Fareed is a resident of Manikeshwari Nagar and has been involved in as many as 17 cases in the past.

Hyderabad: A 26-year-old history-sheeter was brutally murdered by around four unidentified suspects in the busy Rezimental Bazaar at Secunderabad on Sunday morning.

The deceased identified as Syed Fareed is a resident of Manikeshwari Nagar and has been involved in as many as 17 cases in the past. Gopalapuram Police registered a murder case and started an investigation.

According to the Police, Fareed came to a wine shop located in a lane infront of the Rathifile bus station at Secunderabad. After he had reportedly consumed alcohol, the suspects came to the same wine shop.

After a couple of minutes, they picked up an argument with him and started beating him with sticks picked up from beside the wine shop.

When Fareed tried to run away, they chased him down and beat him constantly till he fell unconscious. They later crushed his face with boulders, killing him on the spot.

Police suspect previous enmity could be the reason behind the murder. A murder case has been registered and based on the CCTV footages, cops launched a hunt to nab the suspects.

Inquiries revealed that Fareed was involved in various cases and a sheet has been opened against him at Chilkalguda Police station.
