HYDERABAD: Afzalgunj and Nallakunta police of East Zone, in two different incidents, apprehended three notorious burglars and seized property worth Rs 23 lakh from their possession.
In the first incident, Afzalgunj Police nabbed two men, hailing from Rajasthan and seized '10,63,550 from them. The arrested were identified as Jagadish Giri, 22, Praveen Singh, 21, both salesmen from Rajasthan.
In the second incident of daylight theft in Nallakunta, a 43-year-old unemployed man, Podishetty Anand Kumar alias Nandu, resident of Bagh Amberpet was nabbed within 24 hours of the occurrence of the crime. He gained access in the house of the victim by breaking opening the lock.
