Telangana: Dhaba thief killed in blaze
Hyderabad: A thief who broke into a dhabha was charred to death in the early hours of Wednesday at Kothur town in Mahbubnagar district. In the dark, the unidentified man spilled an open can of kerosene on the floor. When he tried to light a matchstick to see what had happened, the spilled oil caught fire that must have spread rapidly, police suspect. The dhaba was gutted. According to the police, the man had gained entry into to the Dhabha owned by D. Ram, located on the road side at Kothur main road in the post midnight.
Later when the fire broke out, passers by informed the emergency services. Police and fire officials rushed to the spot and with the help doused the flames. While cleaning the waste, the shop owner found the body and alerted the police. Police have now booked a case and started an investigation into the incident
