Telugu Desam office employee's father thrashes constable
Tirupati: The ruling party Telugu Desam has landed into another controversy in Chittoor district, after father of an employee, believed to be working at TD’s district office, allegedly thrashed a constable who pointed out the employee’s father for taking up construction works on a land under dispute.
According to sources, Chandra Sekhar Naidu and his son Yugandhar, hailing from Penumuru mandal in Chittoor district, has a land in this village.
The land was in a dispute for a while and was at the court, which made orders not to take any construction works until final hearing.
The father of Telugu Desam party office employee Chandra Sekhar Naidu had allegedly taken up some construction works on the land under dispute.
Meanwhile, on receiving information from local people, a constable from a nearby police station went to the village and asked Naidu to stop the works as it was against the court order.
Chandra Sekhar Naidu allegedly thrashed the constable and injured him severely.
It was learnt from the sources that Naidu‘s son Yugandhar, who is believed to be working at the Telugu Desam party office, made a call to the area sub inspector and pressured him not to register any case against his father.
Though the constable made a complaint to the SI, due to political pressure, no case has been registered yet.
