MALAPPURAM: As many as 3,000 identifiable men and women including Tirurangadi MLA, P.K. Abdu Rabb have been booked for blocking National Highway 66 which caused traffic snarl. The protest was for hours as part of a mass protest against the police. The blockade was organised by the All Party Action Committee demanding the arrest of RSS workers who were accused in the Pullani Faisal Murder case.
The Thursday’s march was inaugurated by Mr Abdu Rabb and local leaders of all political parties sans CPM who also took part in the eight hour long blockade on the State Highway in Chemmad and NH at Kakkad. The march had forced the police to reshuffle the investigation team and hand over the case to the Crime Branch.
