Vijayawada: A female house surgeon at Siddartha Government Medical College went missing after leaving a suicide note in her hostel room around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
According to Vijayawada Central ACP Sheik Qadar Basha, the student, a resident of Rangareddy district in Telangana, left the hostel mentioning in her note that she wants to commit suicide due to some personal and professional reasons.
College authorities lodged a complaint with Machavaram police at 1:30 p.m. They registered a case and alerted all police stations.
Police traced the missing medico around 3:30 p.m. They brought her to the college and counselled her.
Authorities also informed her parents, who have started for Vijayawada.
