ACB arrests land records official in DA case

ACB said the officer was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe at the Sangareddy collectorate a few days ago

Hyderabad: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) registered a disproportionate assets (DA) case on assistant director of survey and lands records wing of Sangareddy collectorate T. Madhusudhan for allegedly amassing illegal wealth.

ACB said the officer was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe at the Sangareddy collectorate a few days ago. Following the incident, the ACB officials conducted searches on his residence and other places.

The agency found Rs 1.03 crore worth assets, gold ornaments and property documents worth Rs 95 lakh and seized them. The accused officer was arrested and is in judicial remand.
