Bengaluru: Six held for killing hotel staff for RS 150
According to the police, the gang was involved in 10 robbery and attempt to robbery cases.
BENGALURU: Six people were arrested by Hennur police while preparing for a dacoity and they have cracked a murder case in Banaswadi police station limits. The gang had fatally stabbed a man for just Rs 150.
The accused have been identified as Manoj, Venkatesh, Dharmaraju, Avinas, Tejas Kumar and a 17-year-old minor.
According to the police, the gang was involved in 10 robbery and attempt to robbery cases. The accused confessed to the murder.
Earlier in October, the gang had attacked a hotel worker, Sanjay Tamang, and when he tried to escape, they stabbed him to death and escaped with Rs 150.
They have been on the run since then. Hennur police have registered a case.
