Train kills 300 sheep in Nalgonda
One of the shepherds sustained minor injuries in the incident.
Hyderabad: Around 300 sheep were killed after being hit by Palnadu Express in Nalgonda district on Saturday. The sheep reportedly belonged to shepherds Lingamayya, Paramesh, Ellaiah and Guruvaiah.
On Saturday, the sheep were taken to their resting place near the railway tracks after grazing when the Palnadu express heading towards Nalgonda from Secunderabad hit the sheep. They were killed on the spot.
One of the shepherds sustained minor injuries in the incident. The shepherds claim that the value of the killed sheep is about Rs16 lakh.
