Three arrested for thefts in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police on Saturday arrested three persons who were involved in different cases and recovered stolen mobiles and bikes from their possession. The suspects were identified as Abdul Habeeb, 34, an auto driver, Kongera Narsimha, 22, a painter and Mohammed Ismail, 21, working as a cook in a hotel.
Police said that Habeeb, a resident of Budwel was involved in three bike theft cases in Rajendranagar police station. He targeted parked bikes in crowded places. During vehicle check, police on suspicion took him into custody. On inquiry he confessed to have stolen bikes. Three stolen bikes and Rs 1.4 lakh cash has been recovered from him.
Narsimha, a resident of Shivrampally was a habitual offender and was under police vigil. Police found that he was spending lavishly and on suspicion they nabbed him and recovered four mobiles worth Rs 60,000 from him.
Ismail, who was also a habitual offender was involved in four mobile theft cases. Police recovered four mobiles worth Rs 1.5 lakh including two iPhones from him. The arrested were produced before the court and sent to remand.
