Hyderabad: An 18-month-old toddler was run over by a reversing car in Sanga-reddy district. The victim was identified as Yashwanth of IDA Bollarum colony.
On Sunday night the 18-month-old boy was playing, another resident, Rahul Goud of the same colony, was reversing his car at the same time, police said.
As it was night he could not see the boy and ran over him. When he heard the cries of the child he stopped the car and the boy’s parents also rushed out, but the boy had sustained a severe head injury.
He was declared dead after being shifted to hospital. Police booked a case of accidental death.
