NCP leader Jayakumar siphoned Rs 5 lakh from woman
Kochi: More cheating complaints have now emerged against expelled NCP leader Jayakumar A (52) with the Eloor police on Sunday registering his arrest for allegedly cheating a woman of Rs 5.75 lakh in the cover of a land deal.
In her complaint, Eloor native Geetha George claimed Kumar had cheated her in 2007 by promising to help her buy a property at Manjumel.
“According to her, the incident happened in August 2007. He first took Rs 75, 000 with the promise to help her buy the land claiming that he knew the party.
