Malayalam actress assault case: Cops want to grill Pulsar Suni more
Kochi: The special investigation team probing the actor abduction and assault case on Friday submitted before the Angamaly judicial first class magistrate court that Pulsar Suni, first accused in the case, was involved in six more criminal cases registered in several police stations. The police filed the submission on a bail plea filed by Suni, whom the police accuses to have carried out a ‘quotation’ by actor Dileep.
Objecting the bail plea, the SIT submitted that the accused has not yet disclosed all the facts known to him regarding the case. The court will consider the bail plea on Monday.
While coming out of the court, Suni had told media persons in response to their query that it was up to the “VIP in Aluva” to reveal whether more persons were involved in the case. “The story has reached only the half way point,” he had said. He revealed before the media persons that several 'VIP's are involved in the case and hence further questioning is needed.
Meanwhile, the police on Friday initiated a probe into the revelation that Pulsar Suni's mother received Rs 1 lakh in her account to find out if the money was received as a fee for the alleged quotation.
Pulsar Suni's mother received the money in early 2016, a year before the controversial abduction of the young actress in Kochi. As per the reports, 96 notes of the denomination Rs 1000 and eight notes of Rs 500 were deposited to her account.
