Hyderabad: A 50-year-old tailor who raped his brother’s daughter was arrested. Police said that Anand raped the girl several times. The girl, 15, the daughter of an auto driver, went missing on July 14. The girl was traced. Later, her father came to know about the rape by his brother Anand.
"After the death of her mother a few years ago, Anand started to move closely with her. He took her to his tailor shop at Basheerbagh and raped her twice," a police official said. He threatened her not to disclose it to her father and purchased some new clothes for her.
Based on a complaint from the girl's father, a rape case was filed. Anand was arrested and sent to judicial custody.
