Hyderabad: Unidentified man dumped from car dies
Hyderabad: An unidentified man dumped from a moving car in the roadside bushes near Sanghi temple, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. Abdullapurmet police launched a hunt for the vehicle, that dumped him and alerted the neighbouring police stations to find out the identity of the victim.
According to the police, the victim aged around 35 years was found lying in the forest area located 2 km away from the Sanghi temple and 3 km from the highway.
On Monday morning, a shepherd Rangaiah saw a car moving at a high speed suddenly halt in the forest and a person was pushed off from the vehicle. There were four occupants who dumped him into the bush. When he noticed them and raised an alarm, the occupants entered the car and sped away. Alerted by Rangaiah, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the victim to a nearby hospital, where he died.
Abdullapurmet inspector D. Muni said the victim may have been kidnapped from an unidentified location, as his hands and legs were tied with plastic ropes and coir and brought to the spot. He victim looked very weak and was dehydrated, due to which he was not in a position to speak.
“ His pulse was low, when he was moved into the hospital. We could not get any information from him. Teams are working to identify and trace the vehicle and also the victim.”he said. A case is registered and the probe is underway.
