Kottayam: Even after a week, the police is clueless about the murder of an ayah at the Benmore division of the Kanan Devan Hills estate at Gundumala. The cops were initially maintaining that their focus was on migrant workers in the estate. But the investigation reached nowhere. Rajaguru, 42, the ayah at a children's daycare there, was found murdered on last Tuesday between 12 and 1 pm with eight hack injuries in her face and head. Two gold chains of 12 sovereigns were also missing. “The investigation is in right direction," Ernakulam Range IG P. Vijayan who is monitoring the investigation told DC. The police had reportedly taken into custody two persons, and are being questioned.
