Hyderabad: The SI, B. Vijay Kumar, who was booked for adultery, had published a poem against adultery in a regional daily. The poem criticised illicit sex. Ironically, five months after the poem got published, the SI himself was caught red-handed with a married woman.
The poem appeared on September 21, 2016. It says that people go for illicit relationships 'for a moment of pleasure, leaving aside values, throwing away relationships and ignoring morals. He also said that the adultery brings ruin upon humans.
The SI from Khammam 2 Town police station was caught with at a house in SR Nagar with a software engineer's wife on Sunday night. The woman's husband caught the cop, called the police and handed him over. SR Nagar police arrested Vijay Kumar for adultery.
The SI and the woman had become friends on Facebook, and they have been seeing each other. The woman's husband Veera Brahmam filed a complaint with the SR Nagar police.
