Hyderabad: After ten days of intensive investigation, the police traced Sai Prajwala, the runaway student from Narayana coaching centre in Bandlaguda, from a hostel at Peerzadiguda .
The girl informed the police that she ran away because she did not want to continue studying for medicine as she was not interested and could not deal with continued pressure from her parents and peers. The police tracked her down by tracing a mobile phone.
“We are glad to have found her safe. She has been handed over to her family after counselling,” said Jaganath Reddy, inspector of Medipally.
Sai Prajwala had ran away from her maternal uncle’s home on October 11, citing academic pressure. The police officials had sent special teams to Maharashtra to find leads....
