Chennai: A 28-year-old wife of a software professional died after she fell from the third-floor terrace in Kelambakkam on late Wednesday evening. The deceased was identified as Sathya, wife of Ilavarasan, a software professional working Siruseri. The couple had two children and the family resided at Cosmo city apartments Pudupakkam on Kelambakkam — Vandalur Road.
She, from her first floor flat, went to the third-floor terrace to fetch the dried clothes at around 8 pm. Her husband and kids were at home. Suddenly the residents heard a thud noise and found a bleeding Sathya on ground. "It looks like she fell from the terrace. Though she was immediately taken to a hospital, she died there without responding to treatment. Sathya and her husband hailed from Thanjavur", the Kelambakkam police said.
