Hyderabad: A 45-year-old realtor allegedly committed suicide in Miryalaguda on Thursday. He was troubled by financial problems. Maram Srinivas was found lying in his car. Police said that he consumed a pesticide.
Maram Srinivas was a resident of Kothapet in Hyderabad and was living with his wife and three kids. He was in the real estate business since a decade, but recently he was down with financial troubles.
On Thursday at around 5 am he started from home, without informing anybody. Around 9.30 am locals of Miryalaguda saw him lying unconscious in his car and alerted the police. Police opened the doors and rushed him to hospital where doctors declared him dead.
“He committed suicide by mixing pesticide in a soft drink. We did not find any suicide note or any other clues in the vehicle. Financial issues seem to be the reason for the man’s suicide,” Miryalaguda I town Inspector D. Bikshapathi said.
Based on a complaint from his elder son Deexit, a suspicious case was registered and the body was handed over to the family after post-mortem.
