Bengaluru: A 26-year-old biker died on spot after a speeding vehicle knocked him down in Kengeri Traffic police station limits, late Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Raghavendra, a resident of Anjanapura and the owner of TVS Showroom in Hesaraghatta.
According to the police the accident happened around 9:45 pm on the Nice Road Bairohalli underpass, while he was returning home from work.
Raghavendra died on spot due to severe head injuries. The passerby immediately alerted the local police who rushed to the spot and shifted his body to the Rajarajeshwarinagr hospital for postmortem.
The Kengeri traffic police have registered a hit and run case and are examining the CCTV footage to identify the vehicle.
