Hyderabad: Another murder by Nayeem came to light on Tuesday. Shamshabad police said the murder case was registered in 2013 and the deceased was identified as Vijay Kumar alias Nadeem of Bhuvanagiri. The arrest of Nayeem’s associates helped the police to solve the mystery behind the murder. Police identified the deceased as the brother-in-law of Nayeem.
Meanwhile, another team from SIT seized some documents from the sub-registrar office at Bhuvanagiri. The SIT will grill sub-registrars soon. Already, the SIT has written a letter to the DG of stamps and registrations seeking information about some sub-registrars.
Meanwhile, Karimnagar police sent two associates of Nayeem named Sridhar Goud and Sameeruddin to judicial custody. The police produced them in Metpally court on Tuesday after nine days of custody. Gangster Nayeem used to eliminate his rivals as per comprehensive plans. In most cases he used call girls to eliminate enemies by luring them with sex. But, in the elimination of Konapuri Ramulu (brother of Sambashivudu) Nayeem failed eight times and succeeded only in the ninth attempt.
A source said that after the murder of Sambashivudu, his brother K. Ramulu was waiting for a chance to kill Nayeem. Nayeem found this out and decided to kill Ramulu. In March 2011 he planned to kill Ramulu at Bhuvanagiri with the help of Chilukaraju Venkatesh alias Suresh. As he failed to kill him he formed four action teams. Later, he failed to kill Ramulu seven more times due to frequent police checking during the Telangana stir and the security provided to Ramulu.
For around six months the action teams tried to kill him at Anthammagudem near Valigonda, twice at a real estate office in L.B. Nagar, at Chandur and at two marriage functions in Nalgonda district. Patolla Govardan Reddy’s wife Vindya Reddy alleged that her husband was killed by Nayeem as he could not stomach her husband’s suggestion not to grab lands of the poor. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, she said, "My husband was a student of MLA R. Krishnaiah and he was a family friend. When Patolla was murdered Krishnaiah assisted us. If my husband was an extortionist why should we take shelter in rented houses now?" she said.
