Medininagar: A woman was allegedly killed after suspected rape and the body with her throat slit was found in a bush near a school in Jharkhand's Palamau district on Wednesday, police said.
The body has not been identified so far, a senior police officer said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Surjit Kumar said that it was "a suspected case of rape and murder of the woman".
The body was found from a bush near Barwahi Middle School under the jurisdiction of the Hussainabad police station, he said.
The body has been sent to the district hospital at Medininagar for autopsy, Kumar added.
