Hyderabad: Two steal former employer’s car, held

Hyderabad: Two men, identified as Yousuf and Raju were arrested by the Shah Inayat Gunj police on Monday for stealing their ex-employee’s car.

Yousuf, a resident of Hasan Nagar and Raju, a resident of Jiyaguda were drivers by profession, said the detective inspector of Shah Inayat Gunj police, A. Prashant. 

 

“This was a planned theft as they bore a grudge against him, following their termination. On Monday, they followed their former employer to Begumpet and hotwired and scooted with the car while he was having breakfast at an eatery. The owner then complained that his Hyundai Verna car was stolen, following which the men were caught on CCTV and arrested,” the official said. 
A case was booked under Section 379 (theft) of IPC and the car was seized from their possession.
