Hyderabad: A person was killed on the spot after a two-wheeler he was riding skid near Kukatpally Y Junction in the early morning hours on Monday.
The Kukatpally police have identified the victim as M. Vijay, 39, a security guard.
According to the police Vijay was travelling from Balanagar to Gachibowli. At RTC complex near Kukatpally Y-junction his two-wheelwe skid and he fell down.
Sub-inspector of police, Kukatpally Banu Prasad said, “Since he was speeding, his helmet came off and his head hit the road.” Locals rushed him to the nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him as dead on arrival.
The police have registered a case under Section 304 (a) and a probe is underway.
The police have handed over the dead body to family members after a post mortem at Gandhi Hospital.
