Hyderabad: The south zone police have formed three teams to track down Ghousia Begum, the relative who brokered the teenager’s marriage with the Omani national.
The woman soon fled the city after Sayeeda, the mother of the teenager lodged a complaint with the police. She claimed that she was kept in dark about the marriage while her husband knew about it.
The police had reportedly detained Sayeeda’s husband and a qazi who had facilitated the marriage. Meanwhile, the Omani national Ahmed had agreed to send his wife to Hyderabad.
