Hyderabad: A division bench comprising Justice V. Ramasubramanian and Justice Ms Anis on Wednesday issued a contempt notice against S. Ramakrishna, a junior civil judge for levelling allegations against a judge of the Hyderabad High Court and against the judicial system during a press conference.
The bench took up contempt case suo motu based on a letter by C. Nageswara Rao, president of AP High Court Advocates Association along with the video footage of the press conference. Issuing the notice, the court directed the junior civil judge to appear before it on July 22 and show cause as to why he should not be punished for contempt of courts Act, the bench directed him to restrain from holding the press conference.
