New Delhi: A 29-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a tantrik in New Delhi's Nihal Vihar area on the pretext of treating her with his 'magical touch' on Thursday night.
The woman approached the tantrik for treatment by 'touch therapy' on the suggestions of a friend, after she found no relief from severe abdomen and back pain despite medical treatment.
According to reports, the 70-year-old gave her an appointment on Thursday and asked her to come to his room, where she found him alone. He then asked her to shed her clothes for the ‘therapy’ which the unsuspecting woman relented to.
The tantrik, sexually assaulted the woman and when she attempted to raise an alarm, threatened her that he would cause dissolution and destruction of her family through black magic.
Despite the threat, the women, with her husband, launched a complaint in the local police station leading to the arrest of the conman.
