Hyderabad: A fight which broke out between a customer who came to a salon for a haircut and the staff led to the death of the customer on Saturday evening.
The victim has been identified as Karthik, 27, of Tirumala Hills, New Malakpet.
According to the police, Karthik had come for a haircut. After it was completed, a quarrel broke out between Karthik and the staff over the payment.
The woman who was at the shop informed her husband Shekar, a bodybuilder, about the row. Shekar rushed to the spot and allegedly strangled Karthik who died on the spot. Shekar fled from the spot, police said.
The Saidabad police registered a case under Section 302 IPC on Shekar and other four members and further investigation is underway. Police shifted Karthik’s body to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy and informed his family. Shekar is yet to be arrested, a police official said.
