Judge misconduct: 2 advocates grilled

The two accused, K. Srinivasa Rao and G. Satish Kumar, didn't divulge any concrete evidence against the accused judge.

Hyderabad: The officers of the Anti-Corruption Bureau grilled two advocates, who were booked in the accused judge S. Radhakrishna Murthy’s criminal misconduct case.

However, the two accused, K. Srinivasa Rao and G. Satish Kumar, didn’t divulge any concrete evidence against the accused judge. But, confessed that they had taken bribe in a cash-for-bail scam.

The ACB has had the two accused in custody for three days.

Meanwhile, the special court for ACB convicted accused P. Surya Prakash, Panchayath secretary, gram panchayat office, Karimnagar, and L. Janardhan Reddy, junior assistant, gram panchayat office, to imprisonment for one year and also to pay a fine of Rs 5,000.

In default of payment of fine amount they are to undergo simple imprisonment for three months for the offence.

Both the advocates were trapped by the ACB in 2012 in a bribe case.
