Uttar Pradesh: Police arrest father for allegedly raping 18-year-old daughter

Police said following the complaint, the father was arrested on Friday.

Jalaun (UP): A man was arrested here for allegedly raping his 18-year-old daughter for four years at a rented accommodation here, police said on Sunday. A complaint was registered on Friday by the victim after she recorded a visual clip as her mother refused to believe that she was being raped by her father.
“My father was sexually abusing me for the last four years. When-ever I informed my mother, she did not believe me and then I made a video clip to prove myself,” the victim said.
The victim was pursuing a course in nursing and stayed with her sister and father in a rented house, police said. Police said following the complaint, the father was arrested on Friday.
