Hyderabad: The Narayanguda police arrested the rider involved in the hit-and-run accident of an advocate earlier this week.
According to the police, the man identified as Md. Siddiq, 21, was a resident of Warasiguda.
He was riding his bike at high speed and was unable to control it.
“The incident occurred at around 7.30 am on Friday morning when Rana was off to drop his daughter to college. When they reached the Water Works area at Narayanguda, Siddiq hit their bike, tossing both of them off their vehicle. Rana died on the spot while his daughter survived,” said the police.
Siddiq was booked under Section 304 (A) and 337 of IPC and was arrested on Sunday.
