Headless body of 19-yr-old hotel employee found dumped in drain near Mumbai

A Tulinj police official said the head of the victim was found wrapped in a plastic and the body in a nullah on Monday.
The Dharmapuri district police suspect the death of a missing girl to be a case of murder, as her relatives allegedly hushed up the issue and planned to cremate her body without informing the police.
Thane: Headless body of a 19-year-old employee of a Mumbai-based hotel was found dumped in a nullah in Nallasopara in Maharashtra's Palghar district, the police said on Tuesday.
Police said the victim has been identified as Vikas Bhavdhane.

Police have registered a case of murder under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code against unidentified persons.
The motive behind the crime would be known after investigation, the official added.
