He has stolen files from office premises and misappropriated files in his custody, thereby indulging in misappropriation of property

Hyderabad: A criminal case has been booked against the secretary of Jubilee Hills Cooperative House Building Society by the Jubilee Hills police following a complaint from the society’s president.

According to the police, president Bollineni Ravindranath alleged that unlawful and illegal activities were being conducted by society secretary Murali Mukund.

“Murali Mukund has criminally breached our trust reposed in him and he cheated the managing committee by withdrawing a case filed before the city civil court, without informing us or seeking our consent.”

“He has also stolen several files from the office premises and misappropriated files in his custody, thereby indulging in dishonest misappropriation of property that is in his custody and he criminally intimidated me and the other office-bearers, threatening us with dire consequences if we questioned his misdeeds.”

“His personal assistant Chandrasekhar aided him in the misuse of files and therefore he is equally liable for criminal action,” the president alleged in his complaint to the police.

He also alleged that Mukund, with active involvement of the previous committee, has criminally conspired among them and aided them in concealing information relating to the fabricated documents of a fictitious person, C. Sirisha of Plot No. 853F at road number 44; and thereafter they indulged in the unlawful transfer of property with wrongful intentions and subsequent encroachment of the same.”

Based on the complaint, the police registered a case and launched an investigation.
