HYDERABAD: Angered by his wife staying away from him and also keeping their daughter away from him, a techie, Kundeti Chandrashekar, killed their daughter Kundeti Mokshaja, 8, at BHEL under the Chandanagar Police Sation limits of Cyberabad. After killing the girl, he dumped her body in their vehicle and left the place to dispose of the body.
He took the ORR near Patancheru and went towards Abdullapurmet on the outskirts of the city. On the ORR, he lost control over the wheel and crashed into the median at Koheda under Abdullapurmet Police Station limits of Rachakonda commissionerate.
Passersby and later police rushed to the spot, where they found a girl’s body lying in the back seat of the car, and questioned him. He admitted that the girl was his daughter, whom he had killed as he was angry with his wife K. Himabindu, also a techie. He was arrested and is being sent to judicial remand, said Abdullapurmet SHO A. Manmohan.
Both husband and wife were working in the same MNC. Meanwhile, after he lost his job a few months back, he blamed Himabindu, who was working as a manager, for it.
Unable to bear his tiffs, around eight months back, Himabindu left him and went to her parents, along with Mokshaja.
Although he used to meet their daughter in her school, he nursed a grudge against Himabindu.
On Friday, he picked up Mokshaja at school, drove her to BHEL township, and parked the vehicle. When Mokshaja told him to patch up with her mother, he slashed her throat with a cutter and left the body in a pool of blood. After putting the body in the car to dispose of it, his car created troubles on the ORR.
