Kakinada: A man Vadapalli Rambabu stabbed his wife to death brutally near a temple at Akividu in West Godavari District on Saturday.
According to Akividu police, Maradugula Sailakshmi Kamala Sandhya of Akiveedu married Vadapalli Rambabu with love. The couple have an 18 month old boy. But, Vadapalli Rambabu was jailed in a chain snatching case. Then his wife Sailakshmi went to her parents house in the village. She along with her father M.V.V.Satyanarayana went to a temple in the village. When she was returning home, Rambabu stabbed her with a knife from the backside.
Meanwhile, her father rushed to the spot, Rambabu fled away from the spot. When 108 ambulance staff came to the spot and declared her death. Her father Satyanarayana told the police that Sailakshmi told him that Rambabu asked her to withdraw the case filed against him. But she refused his proposal. Then Rambabu stabbed her. Akiveedu police registered a case and Bhimavaram Rural Circle Inspector is investigating.
