Visakhapatnam: A five-month pregnant woman was hospitalised in a critical condition at the BC Colony in Vizianagaram on Saturday after her husband, a constable, kicked her in the stomach as she refused to abort her child.
K. Venkatesh works with the Fifth Battalion APSP at Chintalavalasa. Upset with his demand to abort the child, his wife Suneetha had gone to her parents’ house a few days ago. On Saturday, Venkatesh went to his in-laws’ house and kicked her in her stomach in front of the family.
