No clues yet in Vikram Dhamija murder case

The police has formed 10 teams to nab the inter-state gang who murdered Dhamija.

Visakhapatnam: A day after the murder of city-based businessman Vikram Prakash Dhamija, police is said they had got some vital clues to nab the accused. The police has formed 10 teams to nab the inter-state gang who murdered Dhamija, chairman and managing director of Best Cranes Private Limited. The gang was said to have been involved in a dacoity at Darapalem.

A senior police officer on condition of anonymity said the CCTV footage had given some vital clues. Sources said that six assailants had barged into Dhamija's flat at about 4.30 pm on Monday and stabbed him six times. They also stabbed his wife Jyothi and his driver. Dhamija was admitted into a private hospital in the state of coma, where he succumbed to injuries on Tuesday night. His wife and driver were out of danger Police is still grappling with the motive behind the murder. One of the investigation officers said police was investigating multiple motives including robbery, property dispute and business rivalry and adopting the eliminating process.
