17 teachers, 4 doctors in Medak district suspended for fraud
Hyderabad: Seventeen teachers from erstwhile Medak district have been suspended with immediate effect for submitting false medical certificates for transfers.
Four doctors were also served with show cause notices for giving the teachers false medical certificates. Recently, the Telangana government had issued a notification for teacher transfers in the state under rules and regulations 2018.
On Tuesday, Sangareddy district collector Dr Vasam Venkateshwarlu released the suspension orders.
According to the suspension orders, teachers from Medak district had filed their franchise online, by misguiding the authoriti-es, by duly enclosing irrelevant certificates to divert the attention of the scrutiny team with mala fide in-tention which was weeded out during the medical certification verification programme held from June 16 to June 18, 2018.
The certification verification progamme was conducted at the District Medical and Health Officer’s office at Sangareddy by competent authorities. “Though some of the teachers filed applications online, they intentionally failed to attend the medical certification verification programme which is intolerable,” the district collector said.
Teachers who were suspended are N. Narayana (Hindi), V. Dhan Singh, Kalal Sandhya, A. Mamt-ha, Senem Rajitha, Koyy-adu Renuka, A. Haridas, Pitla Mallesham, B. Sathaiah, B. Prashanthi, B. Manjula, G. Jyothi, T. Shashi-kala, Syed Azam Uzama, M.V.K. Annapurna, M. Ashok Kumar and B. Kanakagurga Bai.
