Hyderabad: A 34-year-old construction worker was killed in an accident in Keesara. The mishap occurred when the bike Balaraju was riding rammed into a parked container truck on Thursday night. Police said, Manchala Balaraju, hailing from AP, came to Hyderabad some years ago and settled in Rampalli village. On Thursday night, after completing work, he was returning home on his bike. When he reached the outskirts of Rampalli, he lost control of his bike went off the road.
“As the bike was moving at high speed he could not control it and rammed into a truck. He and the bike came under the truck and Mallesh sustained a serious head injury,” police said. Mallesh died on the spot. An accidental death was registered and the body was handed over to his kin after post-mortem. Mallesh is survived by his wife and two children.
