Hyderabad: A 22-year old man was mowed down by a tipper on Tuesday night while the driver of the vehicle was moving in reverse to unload the gravel. The deceased, identified as Shiva Kumar, a daily wage labour, was sleeping at his work site at Hafeezpet with a co-worker, Madan Sahani.
“The deceased works as a daily wage labour. He was a native of Bihar. On Tuesday night, he was sleeping in the driveway at his worksite with another labour when the tipper, driven by an employee of the firm, took a reverse turn to unload the gravel ran over him, ” said the Sub Inspector of Miyapur, M. Mahipal Reddy.
