Vijayawada: Woman cop in CCS police station commits suicide

Vijayawada: Constable G. Nagamani, 29, working in the CCS police station, committed suicide on Monday. After sending her children to school, Nagamani hanged herself in her house at Krishnalanka. She is a 2009 batch constable and there were no complaints against her at the police station. Her husband, Galla Nagaraju, owns three lorries. Krishnalanka inspector Chandrasekhar said: “The reasons for her suicide are not known yet. Nagamani’s parents gave a clean chit to Nagaraju. Her family members said Nagamani is short-tempered.”
