Bengaluru: Security guard held for woman's murder

The accused guard has been identified as, Taihalle, 29, hailing from Nepal.

Bengaluru: The Kengeri police on Tuesday arrested a security guard for abetting the murder of a woman employee with BHEL. He allegedly helped the prime accused murder his sister-in-law on Saturday over a property dispute. The accused guard has been identified as, Taihalle, 29, hailing from Nepal. He was working as a security guard at the Sun City apartment in Kengeri, where both the prime accused, Vivek Prakash, and the victim, Saishree Anu, resided. Investigations revealed that Prakash on Saturday met Taihalle and took him out for a drink. He convinced him to murder his sister in law and offered him Rs 1 lakh.

The police said that the two then went to Anu's house, who was alone. They fatally strangulated her using a cloth.

Kengeri police had arrested Vivek on Monday and based on the information shared by him, they traced and arrested Taihalle.
