Hyderabad: A 54-year-old daily wage labourer was found brutally murdered in Moula Ali industrial area. Police suspect that his friends are behind Manoj Kumar's murder.
Manoj Kumar was staying in Hanuman Nagar along with his family. A few months ago, his friend Emmanuel borrowed money from Manoj by mortgaging his bike with him. On Wednesday night, Emmanuel and his friends Praveen and Harish came to repay the money and collect their bike.
Manoj left home along with the three, but did not return. His sons Saikumar and Udit Prakash searched for him and called his mobile in vain. On Thursday morning, passersby found a bike parked near a small canal near Srinagar Colony gate and the body of a man in the canal, which is less than two feet wide.
Police identified the victim as Manoj with the help of his phone. Manoj’s wife Geetha filed a complaint alleging that Emmanuel, Praveen and Harish had killed her husband.
