Kurnool: A dog-attack left approximately 100 rams dead in Sanjamala mandal in the Nandyal district on Tuesday. These were owned by Muraboyina Sivudu, a shepherd.
The loss was estimated at around Rs.5 lakh. Sivudu said a pack of dogs attacked the rams while they were grazing in the field in the morning. He appealed to authorities for financial assistance from the government to help him cope with the loss. The Sanjamala police said no case was filed in the incident.
