Rs. 97.30 Lakh Cash Seized from Hanamkonda-bound Car in City

Hyderabad: A routine vehicle check at Greenlands traffic signal in Punjagutta helped the north zone commissioner’s task force and Punjagutta police seize unaccounted cash to the tune of Rs.97.30 lakh from a car.
According to police, the individuals in the car were identified as Manda Anil Goud, 31, the driver, and Arpula Ravi, 35, from Mahbubnagar. Anil works as a driver for Raju, a civil contractor. As per instructions, Goud and Ravi collected the cash from one Tirumal Reddy's office at Somajiguda and deliver it to his office in Hanamkonda.
