Vijayawada: Sangam Dairy director Gollapally Srinivas has been arrested for an attack on milk farmers at Sangam Dairy on Nov 15.
The police registered a case on a complaint of milk farmer Musunuri Ramu, a resident of Rangapuram of Lingapalem mandal in Eluru district. It said the farmers were attacked when they went there and asked the management about their pending dues.
He complained that the 14 percent bonus was not given to farmers for the sale of the milk. “I was attacked with sticks and hockey sticks, and three of our cars were destroyed. Former MLA and Telugu Desam leader Dhulipalla Narendra has been named the 14th accused in the FIR.
