Hyderabad: A four-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a 60-year-old man at Medchal on Wednesday.
The victim, who stays in a locality in Medchal, is known to the accused, Nagender Chary, a carpenter. On Wednesday afternoon, the man offered a chocolate and took the girl to an unoccupied dwelling at Praja Enclave where he sexually assaulted her.
“The girl informed about it to her mother who approached the police and lodged a complaint. A case was registered against Nagender Chary,” said inspector of Medchal, S. Venkat Reddy. The police detained the man for questioning .
